Vermont's Town Forest Centennial Kick-Off and Arbor Day Celebration

Date and Time:

April 28, 2015 (All day)

Location:

Montpelier, VT

Help us connect Vermonters to our town forests!

Join us for a day long celebration as we kick off Vermont’s Town Forest Centennial Anniversary and recognize Vermont Arbor Day at the State House in Montpelier. Come for all or part of the day.  We’ll be witnessing the reading of a Resolution by the Vermont Legislature to commemorate 100 years of establishing and caring for Vermont’s town forest, as well as the reading of Vermont’s Arbor Day proclamation.  It's a day to celebrate Vermont's deep tradition in and commitment to our urban and community forests. We hope to see lots of town forest advocates, users, community volunteers and partner organizations, in attendance so please help spread the word and be there!

RSVP encouraged but not required: click here to register.
